The Seventh String is a transcendental folk band born in Austin, Texas and now spanning continents. Members K Stellar Dutcher (guitar, vocals, percussion), Firefly Walter (guitar, vocals, ukulele), Sebastian Schell (guitar, vocals, tin whistle), Laura Benson (vocals, fiddle), and Connor Scalzi (upright & acoustic bass) weave ancestral Celtic & European songs with modern folk music, exploring what it means for European-descended white people to reach for their ancestry in the name of healing, truth-telling, and the pursuit of a liberated world.
